In-Person Event

The Anchorage Museum seeks Anchorage-area 9-12th grade students interested in learning and communicating about climate change for its Teen Climate Communicators spring session. Teen Climate Communicators provides teens the opportunity to use museum artwork, objects, and resources to investigate and discuss climate change. 

Spring 2024 session includes activities and dialogue around adaptation, hope, care, and survival. Teens engage with museum and community experts in thoughtful conversations to consider and share potential solutions to climate change challenges.  

The group meets 4 - 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays from Jan. 24 – May 1, in the Seed Lab, located at 111 6th Ave, Anchorage. Participation is free. 

Applications due by 11:59 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22.
