Repair & Reuse: Sewing Machine 101

Get started with machine sewing by making a reusable cloth bag. The workshop begins with a lesson on sewing machine use, and participants will be shown how to make a bag to take home.
The skills learned in this workshop are building blocks for clothing repair, modifications, or repurposing. All skill levels are welcome. Bring your own machine or use one of ours. Free fabric to use or take home will be available from the material library. Workshop led by teachers Amy Meissner, Jamie Hirano and Ming Stephens.
