You can now stream Planetarium feature shows in the comfort of your own home. Through a partnership with FULLDOME OnDemand, the Thomas Planetarium is pleased to offer a selection of Loch Ness Productions' popular Planetarium show rentals at special reduced prices. This is a great way to help support the Thomas Planetarium while enjoying some of best films this producer has to offer.
Build literacy and language skills with a live retelling of classic and modern tales in the planetarium. Blink engages toddlers and their caretakers with drop-in, educator-led programs on Thursdays from September to May. Best for ages 5 and under; siblings welcome. Included with museum admission.
Join NASA Solar System Ambassadors in the planetarium for a live program highlighting the latest in space news. Hear and see updates on current space missions and find out what’s currently visible in the night sky. After the program, stay for interactive activities and discover new astronomy resources.

The planetarium is currently offering several virtual field trips for educators.
Cartoons in the Dome is a changing planetarium offering investigating art, history, culture, and science in the planetarium. These immersive, full-dome programs change regularly, occurring Saturdays and Sundays at 12:30 p.m. October - April.
These quick planetarium experiences range from constellation tours of the night sky and cruising around the solar system to learning about light and the aurora borealis. Free; ticket required and available at the front desk.
Artists and musicians team up to perform music and light experiences live. These programs are designed specifically for the Thomas Planetarium. Occurs at 7:30 p.m. Space is limited, tickets required. $15 admission, members receive a 10% discount. Please use 7th Avenue entrance.
Immerse yourself in Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, or Wish You Were Here. These full-dome music and light show expands on the classic albums through captivating HD graphics. Not a typical laser show, but the next generation of computer-generated imagery.
Be transported by mood-altering art and 3D graphics choreographed to Led Zeppelin’s biggest hits. This immersive experience plays out on the museum’s full-dome planetarium screen in concert with a state-of-the-art sound system.
