Live in the Planetarium: Discover the Scent World of Iceland

From the fresh green foliage of a Reykjavík summer to the mineral scent of a glacier dusted with volcanic soot, experience Iceland's landscapes and memories through fragrance, sound and storytelling.

Join Icelandic perfumery and art collective Fischersund for an immersive, small-group experience in the Anchorage Museum Planetarium. Through narrated scent poems, original fragrances, atmospheric music and ethereal visuals, Fischersund brings the sights, sounds and scents of Iceland to life. Encounter unexpected aromas of licorice, ocean air, metallic harbors and tart rhubarb as scent becomes a way to experience place, memory and imagination.
