Bike Tour: Public Art in Anchorage

Strap on a helmet and set off on a tour of public art pieces led by Anchorage Curator of Public Art Gideon Gerlt. Ride to a selection of artworks across the city while learning the stories behind each piece, including their histories, artistic intentions, and the community responses they've inspired.This tour offers a glimpse into the diverse and ever-evolving public art landscape that helps shape Anchorage’s identity.
Free. Tour begins at the Anchorage Museum and covers four to eight miles; may not be suitable for all riders. Meet at 5 p.m., ride begins at 5:30 p.m. rain or shine. Bikes not provided. In partnership with Bike Anchorage.
