Free Day at the Museum: Indigenous Peoples’ Day

In-Person Event

In recognition of the upcoming Indigenous Peoples' Day, which celebrates and honors Alaska Native and Native American peoples and commemorates their histories and cultures, the museum offers free admission on Friday, Oct. 7. Special thanks to Alaska Airlines and GCI for sponsoring this free admission day.

 

We thank the Dena’ina people for the past, present and future stewardship of land, place and people.

 

Note: Because of the museum’s winter schedule, the museum will be closed Monday, Oct. 10, when Indigenous Peoples’ Day is recognized nationwide.
