Adults age 55+ can learn how to make your own set of blockprints in this two-day workshop. Whether making a set of cards, unique gift tags, or prints to frame or give to others, blockprinting is an accessible medium that creates beautiful multiples.
Using design techniques, students will craft and carve soft linoleum blocks the first day, practicing technical carving techniques with guidance, to finish at home as needed. The second session, participants will learn all about inks, printing, and will create a set of prints to trade and take home. Registration required; participation expected for both days. All materials provided; participants will receive additional instructions by email upon registration.
