October is National Book Month, and Seed Lab and the Anchorage Public Library are teaming up to make zines. Shortened from the term fanzine, “zines” have roots in fandom of early science fiction from the 1930’s. Since then, making zines has been a popular method of sharing art, information and humor in a small, informal way. Teens ages 14+ will join instructors for a fun, creative workshop in how to make zines and produce their own using materials provided. Registration required. Free.
