The Alaska Region of the Forest Service has been selected to provide the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree. Up to 10,000 handmade ornaments are needed to decorate the tree and up to 48 companion trees are to be displayed throughout federal buildings in Washington DC. Help create snowman ornaments made from upcycled tree cookies to decorate this year’s trees. All ages welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult.
