Learn to knit from the Knitters of the North (KOTN), Anchorage's knitting guild. In this introductory class, participants will learn how to read a knitting pattern, how to knit and purl, how to knit flat and in the round, as well as how to recognize and fix common knitting mistakes.
Students will make a cowl and practice basic stitches, giving them the skills to grow and knit more complicated projects. Perfect for individuals with no previous knitting experience.
$40 materials fee; all students will take home a kit with all materials to complete their project.
