Wild Shore New Music presents a performance of chamber music for the Alaska premiere of "For Zitkála-Šá Series" by Raven Chacon, and Dr. Heidi Aklaseaq Senungetuk’s interpretation of George Rochberg's"50 Caprice Variations" for solo violin. 

Other works performed during this program include composers Jerod Impichchaachaaha’ Tate’, Leilehua Lanzilotti, and Timo Andres. Wild Shore will be joined by Alaska musicians Dr. Miriam English Ward (viola) and Charles Akert (cello), who accompany Wild Shore's co-founders Katie Cox (flute), Andie Tanning (violin) and Conrad Winslow (composer/pianist). 

Wild Shore New Music celebrates its eleventh season in October 2024 by exploring Alaska’s origins and connections to contemporary American culture. $10 Members/Students/Seniors, $20 General Admission. $30 Pay-It-Forward (to support free admission for those that request it).
