Join the Anchorage Museum for the first Scientist Spotlight connected to the new Arctic Marine Science exhibition.
Harmony Wayner, Network Coordinator for the Western Alaska Landscape Initiative, will lead a 45-minute presentation exploring social-ecological systems, with a focus on Indigenous values and well-being in Alaska fisheries.
Participants will also have time to experience the “Arctic Marine Science: Sikuliaq to Shore” exhibition, followed by a hands-on activity painting a wooden salmon or fish fillet.
$15 per person; $13.50 for museum members. Includes museum admission.
