
Learn to start your own berry patch with Josh Smith of Bear Mountain Forest Nursery. This hands-on workshop covers processing and germinating native berry seeds and cuttings—participants will plant seedlings and take home starter plants.

About the Instructor
Josh Smith is a lifelong plant enthusiast from Fairbanks who now runs a small hobby farm and nursery in Chugiak, specializing in native edible plants and hardy fruits. His journey from the Air Force to nursery owner reflects his deep-rooted passion for plants.
