Seed Lab, 111 W. 6th Ave.
Repair & Reuse: Zippered Bags + Machine Sewing 101

Learn how to use a sewing machine to do basic stitches. Practice your new skill by making a reusable cloth bag, with or without a zipper. Have a bag you need to fix? Feel free to bring that as well. This class is sewing-machine-focused; bring your own from home or share one of the four machines provided. Materials provided. Doors open at 6. Free; registration required.

Repair & Reuse workshops aree based on a culture of repair, working to transform our culture into one that repairs more readily than it purchases to create a more sustainable community. Workshops on mending, repairing outdoor gear, upcycling and object fixing, along with the sharing of how-to skillsets, help remind all of us that low-cost repairs help the climate.
