World Knit in Public Day
Noon-2 p.m. Saturday, June 13
Pack your yarn and a comfy seat and join Knitters of the North (KOTN) on the museum lawn for World Knit in Public Day. For over 30 years, KOTN has been bringing fiber artists together in Anchorage to learn, share, and give back to our community through charitable knitting. June 13th is all about stepping out of our living rooms, enjoying the summer daylight, and sharing the joy of making with each other in public. Whether you’re a lifelong knitter, a crocheter, a spinner, or you're just picking up needles for the very first time, you have a place here.
Free.
