Join virtual artist-in-residence Myesha Callahan Freet and Vanessa Powell in creating Lumens during Lunch on the Lawn. This is a drop-in activity, no registration required.

Artist Bios:

Myesha Callahan Freet
Inspired by the changing of the seasons and fleeting moments of life itself, Freet leverages nature's lack of permanence by experimenting with fleeting art through alternative photography. Myesha is based in Chugiak AK, where she is a visual and performance artist, photographer, and figure model.

Vanessa Powell
As a lifelong Alaskan, Powell’s creative process has been strongly influenced by her relationship with light and nature. Light and photography remain at the core of her artistic passion. This kinship to light permeated Powell’s growth as a young artist and nurtured her as she grew artistically. Vanessa is based in Wasilla, where she is a visual artist and educator.

Free. Note: if it rains, music and activities will move indoors, where museum admission applies.
