Join Director Julie Decker and Senior Education Director Erin Marbarger in a discussion with local bird experts Lisa Pajot and Arin Underwood to learn more about the white raven that has captivated Anchorage birders and the ongoing conservation and education efforts for Alaskan shorebirds.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Lisa Pajot has 30 years of experience studying birds. She worked as a wildlife biologist with United States Geological Survey for 24 years and now volunteers for Bird Treatment and Learning Center, training Amabassador Birds and leading avian conservation education programs.

Arin Underwood is a wildlife biologist with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game in Anchorage, Alaska. Underwood engages in field research with lesser yellowlegs, collared pika, and little brown bats; runs two citizen science projects on boreal waterbirds and bats; and participates in outreach and education.
