Teen After-School Laser Camp is a four-week camp where teens learn the fundamentals of laser light through hands-on activities. These laser experiments inspire cooperative team-building opportunities, focusing on the science of lasers and light, what makes it unique, and how lasers are used in everyday life. Teens will have the opportunity to design their own laser music show and present their work to parents and caregivers during a showcase at the end of the final class.
$100; museum members receive a 10% discount. Participants must attend all four sessions. Due to the laser equipment and content, participants must be 13+.
Laser music shows contain intense flashing and flickering lights and loud sounds. They may not be suitable for people with disorders triggered by flashing lights.
