Before their extinction, dinosaurs reigned for 165 million years. Are these intriguing animals really gone? During this week-long camp, kids will investigate all things ‘dinosaurs’ using S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math)- based activities. Campers will learn about birds, dinosaurs’ closest living relatives, and how they have adapted from the Cretaceous period through modern times. They will hone their observation skills and learn through various engaging hands-on activities. This camp culminates in a showcase on Friday at 2:30 p.m., where parents and caregivers are invited to view campers’ work.
Ages 7-9. $300; 10% discount for museum members. Drop off as early as 9:30 a.m.; pick up as late as 3:30 p.m.
