Teen Climate Communicators are 9-12th grade students interested in learning about communicating about climate change. Participants collaborate with like-minded teens weekly for a school year-long cohort. Teens will learn from museum professionals and guest presenters, engage with museum artwork, objects, and resources beyond what the public experiences, and gain experience communicating about climate issues.
This fall and spring, teens will participate in activities and conversations around our changing climate and create an exhibition at the Anchorage Museum. Teens will also receive volunteer hours and a climate communicator certificate.
