About the Artists
Joshua Demain captures the majesty of Alaska’s skies in his paintings, blending natural beauty with subtle social commentary through solitary elements like rocks and light poles.

Melanie Lombard creates experimental cyanotypes that merge natural imagery with abstraction. Working outdoors, she collaborates with the environment, embracing its unpredictability in her art.

Emily Sullivan (she/they) is a photographer and writer focused on outdoor recreation, environmental wellness, and community empowerment. A backcountry ski athlete and climate justice organizer, her work reflects deep engagement with Arctic sustainability and land issues in Alaska.
