Zine Thing Fling Ding is back for a third year. Anchorage's annual celebration of DIY publishing, comics and creativity returns October 16–17 at Seed Lab. Whether you're a seasoned zine maker or brand new, this is your chance to create, collaborate and connect. All ages. Free to participate. 

Friday, Oct. 16, 6–10 p.m.: Open studio, informal workshops, and live music.

Saturday, Oct. 17, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.: Open studio space for zine makers prepping for the 2026 Zine Fair at The Nave (Oct 22), plus a lineup of workshops from local writers, artists, zine makers and journalists. Schedule to come.
