The word bonsai means ‘tree in a dish or tray,’ and the practice invites us to slow down and practice patience. Learn the ancient art of bonsai in a hands-on class taught by Paul Marmora and Tim Pack, past and current presidents of the Cook Inlet Bonsai Study Group.
In this two-day workshop, hosted by the University of Alaska Cooperative Extension Service, participants will learn how to grow and care for their own miniature tree to take home.
$60 materials fee; registration required. Participants must commit to both sessions. All materials, including trees, are provided.
