On the anniversary of the Earthquake of 1964, hear about the heroic efforts of the soldiers at the Nike-Hercules missile base (now Kincaid Park) who worked to avoid a nuclear catastrophe during the Good Friday quake. A recording will be available on Crowdcast within 24 hours of the lecture.

Presented in conjunction with the temporary exhibition “Cold War to the Cosmos,” now on exhibit on the 3rd Floor.
