Slow down and explore your creativity this winter. Slow Craft Mondays, hosted by the Anchorage Weavers and Spinners Guild, showcase a chosen technique – from loom weaving and tablet weaving to macrame, felting, knitting and more. Monday, Dec. 1, learn the art of sprang, a weaving technique from the Viking era. Come curious and dive into your new favorite winter craft.
Doors open at 6 p.m.; session from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Free. Registration recommended, but not required.
This event is part of a Slow Craft series on the first Monday of the month. Join us to explore creative practices and connect with the local crafters, build community and find a new spark.
