“Trashion” is clothing and accessories made from used, discarded, found and repurposed materials. Join museum staff in a creative jewelry-making workshop using everyday objects and materials.
All materials will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring in personal objects (recycled materials, broken jewelry/accessories, etc.) to create unique jewelry pieces. This is an active opportunity to make “trashion” garments and wearables for the Anchorage Museum’s Trashion Show on Thursday, June 11.
$20 materials fee; includes museum admission. Museum members receive a 10% discount. Registration required.
