Vital & Creative: Textile Arts for Ages 55+

Create a table runner or wall hanging inspired by the Anchorage Museum collection and traditional penny rugs in this eight-week course for adults ages 55 and older. Designed for all levels and abilities, participants explore the history and process of creating textile art with museum curators, educators and contemporary artists. Each session builds on the previous sessions, providing both a broad understanding of the history and context of textile arts and a completed textile artwork.
