Slow Craft Week 2026
Slow down, cozy up and lean in during this week of workshops and gatherings highlighting slow craft, repair and handwork.
Hosted at Seed Lab, this week-long collection of programs creates a community space for makers in the local community to gather, share their crafts, and practice joy during the dark northern winter season. Hosted in collaboration with Handwork 2026, a nationwide semiquincentennial initiative to celebrate the diversity of crafts that define America, you're invited to join in free skillshares, explore repair techniques, and collaborate on various handwork projects in this informal gathering of makers. From stitch work and knitting to letterpress and repair sessions, Slow Craft Week has something for everyone.
When the season is dark, we circle up inside and swap stories, share time and sow ideas in slow craft.
