Anchorage Design week is Anchorage, Alaska's, annual festival celebrating Northern design.

What Happens During Anchorage Design Week?

Anchorage Design Week invites designers, artists, and community members to explore how design shapes the future of our city and life in the North. Organized by the Anchorage Museumin collaboration with Alaska Design Forum and ASID Alaska, this annual event features workshops, exhibitions, public programs, and conversations that highlight place-based creativity and bold new ideas.

Held during Anchorage Fur Rendezvous, the week is a chance to connect, collaborate, and shake off cabin fever with design-driven energy. From visual storytelling to urban interventions, the programming welcomes diverse voices to consider how design can advance more just, sustainable, and imaginative futures.

Anchorage Design Week is proud to be part of the World Design Weeks network, linking Alaska’s design perspectives to global conversations. Events take place throughout the city and at the Anchorage Museum. Everyone is welcome.
