Soundscape: Summer

Since 2018, the Anchorage Museum has partnered with schools and organizations to record and collect the dynamic soundscapes of Alaska. This lesson examines the seasonal aspect of summer soundscapes and how those soundscapes are impacted by noise. This lesson plan offers an opportunity for students to examine soundscapes throughout summer break.

Recommended grade levels 8th – 12th
