Anchorage Museum policies call for periodic review and evaluation of collections. While the collections are developed with the good faith to retain items for an indefinite time period, these periodic reviews can identify items that no longer meet current collection plans, are not related to the museum mission, or are duplicative of other items in the collection. Please see notices below for updates to the collection.
