The Drew Michael Artist Fellowship Fund

Artist Drew Michael (Yup’ik and Inupiaq) is inviting people to help him establish the Drew Michael Artist Fellowship Fund in the Museum Endowment. This fund will make it possible for artists from the Circumpolar North, or who are otherwise engaged in the North, to spend time in residence at the Anchorage Museum.

The artists will receive a stipend to support their time, research or other expenses. They will have access to and assistance from Anchorage Museum staff, and connections to other artists, researchers, curators and communities in support of their work.

It will take $100,000 for Drew to create this fund in the Anchorage Museum Endowment.

You can help make this fund possible by donating to the Anchorage Museum Foundation and directing your gift to the Drew Michael Artist Fellowship Fund.
