Hanna Agasuuq Sholl is a Sugpiaq/Alutiiq artist from Kodiak, Alaska. Her work spans a diverse array of media, including painting, sewing, carving, beading, weaving, graphic design, and photography. She says that her intention is to create work that speaks back to colonizers who described her ancestors in racist and negative ways while also reminding viewers that being strong and independent has always been part of Alutiiq/Sugpiaq culture.

Sholl is the recipient of the 2020 Luce Indigenous Knowledge Fellowship. She is a member of the Kodiak Alutiiq Dancers and is active in education and cultural revitalization efforts in her community. She is also the mother of four children.
