THE ANCHORAGE MUSEUM IS OPEN
Check our Hours and Tickets page for more information.
Here’s what we do to help keep everyone healthy throughout the museum
We may have limited visitor capacity in some areas. The museum is about 275,000 square feet on four levels, which allows for physical distancing when required. Hand sanitizer will be available, as well.
We clean and sanitize high-touch, high-traffic areas, with deep cleaning when the building is closed.
Staff and visitors are asked to wear fabric face coverings. Beginning May 21, fully vaccinated visitors may visit without face coverings.
We encourage frequent hand washing and will provide hand-sanitizing stations throughout the museum.
Visits are self-guided and visitors who are not fully vaccinated should follow physical distancing practices in all spaces. Some areas of the museum may be temporarily closed, with signage posted, during your visit.
We will continue to offer Anchorage Museum from Home, including online exhibitions, virtual programming, and virtual First Fridays on our Facebook page.
We encourage everyone to be aware of COVID-19 symptoms and ask anyone feeling unwell to stay home.
Thank you for supporting the museum through the COVID-19 closure and beyond. We look forward to welcoming you back to the museum.
We rely on support from our community and you.
Please consider making a donation to support the museum during this difficult time.
