Create infused cocktails with Edible Alaska contributor Hollis Mickey, then listen as UAA Associate Professor of History Ian Hartman presents some history on Fairview and how its storied past fits into the rich history Anchorage's food and beverage scene. During the class, Dr. Ian Hartman will be in dialogue with community activist and leader Cal Williams, who moved to Alaska in 1965. Williams is the curator of the Historymakers archival collection for the Anchorage Museum, the former president of the Alaska Chapter of the NAACP, a photographer, and on the board of directors of the Anchorage Senior Activity Center.
