Urban Harvest: The Joy of Kombucha

Explore the many health benefits of kombucha, a bubbly the probiotic tea, and learn how to make it from David Boortz, owner/operator of 203 Kombucha in Palmer, Alaska, in this online version of Urban Harvest. Take a short virtual tour of Boortz’s kombuchery operation, learn how to start and maintain a scoby (the living home for the bacteria and yeast that transform sweet tea into tangy, fizzy kombucha) and ask questions.
