A documentary by filmmaker Boris Bertram, The Human Shelter explores the fundamental quality of the idea of home as it exists across cultures. It’s a subject in which Bertram believes we are all experts. Vignettes span four continents and depict fundamental human values like community, family, nature and the planet that ties us all together. This hour-long feature speaks to anyone who believes in the power of design to improve communities. Food, beer and wine for purchase at the atrium café from 6 to 9 p.m. $10, 10% discount for members.
