Arctic Food & Beer Festival

A tasting featuring Northern and North-inspired recipes by featured chefs with support from the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute. $20/adult, $10/child for food only. $40/adult (21+) for food plus beer. Extra beer tickets available for purchase.

Shane Moore & Jess Young, South Restaurant + Coffeehouse: Halibut collars with highbush cranberry BBQ sauce root veg puree with Summit Spice ranch seasoning, wasabi sprouts or a beet slaw garnish.
Aaron Gilman, Seven Glaciers Restaurant: Confit of halibut with spruce tip "pudding" and seasonal garnishes.
Amy Nicolaisen, Wooden Spoons Alaska: Alaska oysters with alaska birch syrup and berry mignonette granita or rosemary crostini with Alaska beet puree, radish, Alaska smoked black cod and herb garnish.
Gwendolyn Alexander, GMA's Cafe and Catering: Bison and reindeer dirty rice or vegetarian dirty rice
Lindsay Clark, Coddle & Cosset: handcrafted chocolate truffles that feature birch syrup, chaga, and spruce tips (all locally sourced).
Locally owned Wild Scoops will provide Alaska Birch Almond Ice Cream.
