Historic Preservation Jam Session

Learn about the necessary ingredients to create places and spaces worthy of future historic preservation efforts. From keeping it real to adaptive reuse opportunities, this workshop focuses on the defining characteristics of historic and contemporary projects in Anchorage. Discussion and activities will further develop participant understanding about what locally available options are for designers, private property owners and those interested in historic preservation advocacy efforts. Presented in collaboration with Tracie Krauthoefer of Corvus Culture, and Summer Louthan from the Alaska Office of History and Archaeology. $20, members receive 10 percent discount.
