Open galleries. Open minds. Open late. Launch your weekend at the museum with music, art activities, talks, food and more on Friday nights. Tonight: Artist talk with Alanna DeRocchi, live music by Aural Imago, games in the atrium with beer and wine available for purchase. Museum admission is half-price from 6 to 9 p.m.
Artist Talk: Alanna DeRocchi

Alanna DeRocchi discusses her work and her path as an artist creating large-scale, hand-built ceramic sculpture. As a maker, DeRocchi's career has led her to often question the value and interpretation we ascribe to objects, and the affect they have on the viewer. Her solo exhibition - Collection: Sex, Death and Expectation - is currently on view in in the museum's Chugach Gallery.

Kick off spring break with an all-ages game night. Settle in for a board game, or test skills on our pool and ping-pong tables. Play Giant Jenga. Included with admission.
