Monday at the Museum: A Sensory-Friendly Series

2/12/2018

3 to 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12

meet in atrium

Discovery, learning and passion are universal. By adapting the museum experience through fewer visitors, modified lighting, sound off, and close-looking we offer meaningful museum experiences for everyone. During this program, individuals and families with children experiencing sensory sensitivities may visit the Cruisin’ the Fossil Coastline exhibition with fewer visitors and adapted lighting and interactives. Museum staff provide informal opportunities for close-looking. Parent or guardian must accompany visitors age 16 and younger. Free admission. Space is limited; registration required; use the museum’s 7th Avenue entrance.
