Reflecting the North as a catalyst for change, SEED Lab brings creative practitioners and communities together to address the challenges of living in the North.
SEED Lab programs and activities connect people and ideas in radical and transformative ways that stimulate creative and critical thinking. Cross-disciplinary cohorts of creative practice professionals, community change agents (residents) and subject matter experts guide and shape SEED Lab projects.
SEED Lab invites you to share community projects for presentation at the upcoming Pitch Event on May 4th.
Presentation format at the pitch event will be as follows:

Projects must be led or co-led by a Creative Practitioner or Community Change Agent. A Creative Practitioner is considered to be an individual who advances solutions using the creative process (e.g. designer, artist, maker). A Community Change Agent is considered to be an engaged and active individual with a clear vision for having a positive impact within the community and expanding relationships and capacity of others to do the same. Creative Practitioners and Community Change agents are expected to be able to communicate an opportunity or challenge, bring together necessary stakeholders, consider multiple perspectives, and lead the creative process to advance a solution from the ideation stage to prototype evaluation.
