Black Belt Eagle Scout
Join us for this special concert
6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, Atrium
Black Belt Eagle Scout performs songs from her latest album The Land, the Water, the Sky. Songs from the album have been featured on the FX/Hulu series "Reservation Dogs." Her music is a dynamic combination of guitar-rock and inspiration of traditional elements of Native American music reflecting her Swinomish/Inupiaq heritage.
Supporting Black Belt Eagle Scout is Anchorage-based Ashley Young, a Tlingit musician who’s vocal dynamic has been described as an array of emotional expressions and warmth.
All-ages. $20 per person. Get tickets at the link below.
“If you can imagine all of the best things that the Pacific Northwest has brought us—Mount Eerie, Grunge, Sleater-Kinney, The Girls Rock Camp, and lush mountain ranges—reimagined and told through the perspective of an Indigenous Swinomish/Iñupiaq woman; if you can imagine the magic that would bring to your life then you can imagine Black Belt Eagle Scout.”
