Artist Interventions & Residencies

We want to include multiple voices throughout the museum, and ‘interventions’ offer new perspectives, sometimes to challenge the status quo. Artists work in museum spaces to respond to issues, ideas, events and eras through performances and temporary installations. These interventions provide new ways of looking at history, science, landscapes, artifacts and the North.
