Anchorage Museum camps foster imagination and experimentation in the arts, science and technology. Guided by trained educators, campers learn, play and create together through explorations of the objects and resources of the museum.
Once registration is complete, you will receive an email with instructions to submit a current health history for each camper online. This must be done prior to camp.
Hours and Location
Camp hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with drop-off as early as 8 a.m. and pick-up as late as 4 p.m.
The adult-to-child ratio is a maximum of 1-to-10. Camp capacity varies. All camp staff undergo thorough background checks and have previous experience working with children. Each camp instructor holds a bachelor's degree or equal teaching and childcare experience, and has prior experience in the education field. Camp instructors are certified in CPR and First Aid.
Save 10% as a Museum Member
Museum members save 10 percent on each camp as well as museum programs. Family Plus, Family Insider and VIP membership allow you to bring a guest/send a babysitter each visit and give you access to a variety of other programs and exclusive events. Learn more about memberships levels and join.
Camps are age specific and cater to a camper's academic, social and motor skill levels. A child may only attend a camp if he or she is the minimum age by the first day of camp.
Required Camper Information
After completing registration, you will receive an email to complete your health history form online. This form needs to be completed and returned to the museum on the first day of camp. Additional details are found in the Camp Parent Handbook.
