What's inside: Alaska-inspired objects and learning tools, as well as written instructions for activities that can be tailored to many different ages and interests.
Perfect for: homeschooling parents, after school groups, early learning facilities and adult community groups and individuals. Each box includes lesson plans to give you quick-start guidelines and ideas for how to use your box.
Anchorage Museum Activity Boxes are made possible through community-sourced ideas, materials, partnerships or resources.
March Activity Boxes: Innovation
March's innovation-themed activity boxes include crafting cool cardboard cutout 3D-inspired that just might change how your see your world, along with a ingredients and instructions from Alaska Seeds of Change for making a small hydroponic garden (Blink, Youth, Adult boxes); a build-your-own doodle bot kit to help you create colorful and creative designs (Blink box); everything you need to create a mini pet play/enrichment toy or activity (Youth box); and a materials for making your own sound amplification device (Adult box).
