Anchorage Museum Collections Committee Seeks Members

The Anchorage Museum seeks individuals with an interest or expertise in Northern art, history or culture to apply for two open seats on its collections committee.
Committee duties include reviewing possible acquisitions and evaluating museum collection policies. The committee works closely with museum staff and the Anchorage Museum Association (AMA) Board of Directors.
Committee members serve a three-year term. Meetings are bi-monthly, last less than two hours, and usually occur in the late afternoon. The committee also schedules special meetings to review exhibition openings.
New committee members will be selected by the Anchorage Museum Association Board of Directors, and will begin participation in February 2017.
