Ann Kjera joins Anchorage Museum as director of human resources

The Anchorage Museum recently hired Ann Kjera as director of human resources. Her responsibilities include oversight of all human resource services including organizational development, policies, employee programs, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations and recruiting.
Kjera has more than 10 years experience in human resources and executive-level management. A former executive director for United Way of the Tanana Valley and Hospice of the Tanana Valley in Fairbanks, Kjera also has held positions in human resources at Everts Air Cargo and Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center.
She has a master’s degree in business administration and human resources management from the University of Phoenix and has earned certification in non-profit administration from The Foraker Group.
Kjera is active in the community and has been a member of Rotary for more than eight years. She also enjoys volunteering with performing arts groups and schools.
