LAST CHANCE TO SEE ‘BODY WORLDS VITAL’
Exhibition closes Jan. 6, 2013 at the Anchorage Museum
There are only two more weeks to see the blockbuster exhibition “Body Worlds Vital,” which closes Jan. 6, 2013 at the Anchorage Museum.
More than 12,400 museum visitors and 2,500 schoolchildren have seen “Body Worlds Vital” at the Anchorage Museum since the exhibition opened Sept. 28. In exit surveys, 87 percent of respondents found the exhibition “fascinating” and “educational.”
Through real human bodies, “Body Worlds Vital” explores human anatomy, physiology and health. “Body Worlds” is the original anatomical exhibition series, displaying authentic human bodies willed by donors. The “Body Worlds” series of touring science exhibitions has attracted nearly 34 million visitors worldwide.
Tickets are $20 adult, $15 ages 3 to 12 and free ages 2 and younger, and include general admission to the museum. Learn more and buy tickets at anchoragemuseum.org.
