Party like it’s 1962 at the Anchorage Museum’s Mad Museum fundraiser
If you missed the '60s the first time around, this is your chance. Join the Anchorage Museum 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21 for Mad Museum, a swanky cocktail party inspired by the hit TV show “Mad Men.”
Don your best vintage duds and indulge in classic cocktail party appetizers and martinis. Get your hair done by stylists armed with Aqua Net at the bouffant boutique. Show off your smooth moves in the dance contest and compete for best-dressed in the "Mad Men" costume showdown.
Tickets are $50 online and $60 at the door. Prices include one drink ticket. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $100, and those include access to a VIP lounge, museum garage parking, two drink tickets and a swag bag. Ages 21 and above only.
Proceeds from the Mad Museum fundraiser will support the museum’s educational programs and the Imaginarium Discovery Center. Purchase tickets and learn more at www.anchoragemuseum.org.
Mad Museum is sponsored by Alaska Dance Promotions, Alaska Distillery, Alaska Pension Services, Anchorage Media Group, Anchorage Press, ConocoPhillips Alaska, Lynden, Party World, Pete’s Tobacco Shop, Princess Cruises Community Foundation, Scan Home, Shear Fire Design and The Wilson Agency.
